SHOPPERS at Eden Square, Urmston, enjoyed live music while they supported the Christie hospital at the fundraising event 'Singing for the Christie' on Saturday, August 22.

Singer David Bradley performed jazz swing and Rat Pack songs for five and a half hours non-stop.

Members of the Sale and Altrincham fundraising committee for the Christie were out in force with their collection buckets - and they collected more than £1,000.

David said: "The day was a huge success thanks to the fantastic people of Urmston who contributed so generously.

"David and Jo who organised the event on behalf of the Sale and Altrincham fundraising committee for the Christie would like to sincerely thank all the volunteers, Eden Square management and particularly the generous people of Urmston for their support."
