RAGLAN Road Pre-School in Sale will hold a party to celebrate their 50th anniversary this weekend.
The event – with fancy dress optional - will take place at the Scout hut in Walton Park on Sunday, July 12, between 1pm-3pm.
The cost is £3 per family, which includes tea or coffee and a slice of birthday cake.
A bouncy castle, BBQ, games, face-painting, performances from the current playgroup children and a visit from a fire engine will all feature.
There will also be a raffle, with prizes having been donated from places like Sea Life Centre, Tatton Park, Legoland Discovery Centre, Waterside Arts Centre, Cheshire Ice Cream Farm and JoJo Maman Bebe.
The playgroup has been operating in Sale since 1965 and is a registered charity. They run preschool sessions Monday-Friday as well as a popular weekly toddler group on Mondays and Plus 3s sessions on Wednesday and Thursday.
