TRAFFORD Council launched a six week public consultation on two key areas of planning on June 29.
The first is the Trafford Statement of Community Involvement, which sets out how and when residents will be involved in preparing a Local Plan, Trafford's blueprint for future development, and other planning documents and how they will be consulted in relation to planning applications.
The second seeks views on the scope of a wide-ranging review of existing planning guidance.
The consultation documents can be downloaded from www.trafford.gov.uk/. Alternatively they are available, on CD Rom, for inspection in all Trafford libraries.
All written comments must be forwarded to the council’s strategic planning team by 5pm on August 10 by e-mailing strategic.planning@trafford.gov.uk, or writing to Trafford Town Hall, Talbot Road, Stretford, Greater Manchester, M32 0TH.
Further information is available by telephoning the team on 0161 912 3179.
