ST Ann's Hospice is already planning a special 10th anniversary celebration of its Manchester Midnight Walk next year after its latest triumph.
Around 2,000 walkers paraded through the streets on June 19, raising an estimated £200,000 for the hospice.
The charity's flagship fundraising event began in 2007.
The date for the 2016 edition on Friday, June 24, was revealed even before the first finishers had arrived back at Manchester Central after completing a 10k route through the city centre.
