The UK Heart Safe awards scheme is open for entries.
The awards competition celebrates organisations and employers who invest in creating 'Heart Safe' environments, as well as the acts of individuals who have saved lives while at work or leisure by doing basic CPR and using a defibrillator .
A Heart Safe environment is one where life-saving equipment - a defibrillator and training are provided for staff.
There are 15 categories ranging from Small Business of the Year, to Emergency Services, Special Recognition, Large Business of the Year, Sports & Fitness Establishment to Leisure & Tourism Business of the Year.
