AN Altrincham nursery is preparing to celebrate its official opening with a plethora of fun and activities this weekend, and Conservative candidate Graham Brady will cut the ribbon.
The Banana Moon Day Nursery on Barrington Road will be opened by Mr Brady, who is defending his Altrincham and Sale West seat, on Saturday, April 25.
Festivities will start at 11am, with entertainment including a bouncy castle, face painting, and arts and crafts planned on the day.
Sabreena Hansraj, the nursery’s director, said: “It’s going to be a massive event for us, obviously with the MP coming as well that’s huge.”
She also added that she was hoping for a big crowd: “We have been out dropping leaflets and getting the word out through social media, so we are hoping it is going to be a massive day for us.”
The day will also include story-telling and food and drink stalls.
