A 12-PINT drinking binge turned out an expensive night for building worker Martin Smith.
After leaving the pub he was seen kicking a car causing £500 of damage.
Smith, 33, of Burleigh Road, Stretford, left Manchester and Salford magistrates’ court owing £825 in fines, compensation and costs.
He pleaded guilty to charges of being drunk and disorderly and criminal damage.
The court heard that he was seen kicking the parked car several times causing dents.
James Street, defending, said Smith had been having 'relationship problems' and went to the pub to drown his sorrows.
