POET laureate Carol Ann Duffy will be presenting at the IATEFL (International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language) Conference in Manchester on April 14.
The international conference is coming to Manchester Central from April 11th-14, and is open to English language teaching (ELT) professionals worldwide.
She will be reading both old and new work at the conference, which will be followed by a book signing.
She said: “I am pleased to be presenting at the forthcoming IATEFL Conference, in my hometown of Manchester. With such a lot going on under one roof and a mixture of nationalities and cultures, I feel privileged to be a part of it.”
