PASSENGERS have given the thumbs-up to Metrolink's service.
Eight-five per cent of passengers said they were satisfied with their journey, in a survey of 2,800 people carried out by Passenger Focus.- up from 83 per cent last year.
Eight out of 10 people who said they use Metrolink to get to work – around half of those surveyed – were satisfied, up from 76 per cent to 81per cent.
Eight out of ten Metrolink passengers were satisfied with their usual journey overall (79%, up from 72%).
Peter Cushing, Metrolink director, said: “Considering this survey was carried out during a period of significant change – including the transformation of the Victoria stop – these are very positive results."
