MANCHESTER Airport has launched brand new Changing Places facilities in each of its three terminals.
At an investment of £235,000, the newly installed facilities have been designed to meet the needs of passengers who have profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD, and other passengers with severe disabilities, providing them with a safe and easy to use toilet facility when travelling through the airport.
The Changing Places facilities can be found airside in each of Manchester Airport’s three terminals and can be used by any passenger, adult or child, who requires it. Terminal Two and Three Changing Places are now open, with Terminal One Changing Places set to open in March.
Access will be provided via the telephone next to each facility and is controlled by the Customer Contact Centre. To pre-notify the airport of a requirement to use the facilities, passengers or carers can contact the team on 0330 333 0304.
