Trafford Council is changing its banking arrangements.
IN response to the Co-operative Bank’s announcement to withdrawal from the local authority market, Trafford Council has switched to Barclays.
Executive member for finance, Cllr Patrick Myers, said: “The council has been working hard behind the scenes to ensure that the changeover to Barclays Bank is as smooth and seamless as possible.
"Residents and businesses can be reassured that they will receive the same high levels of service and customer care as that currently offered.
"I am also pleased to say that as a result of the change to Barclays, the council will save money as a result of lower bank charges, which ultimately helps all residents and businesses.”
