TRAFFORD residents are being urged to grab their walking boots and cycling shorts and take part in a challenge to beat the Manchester Bogle to support the work of the NSPCC’s ChildLine Schools Service.
Taking place on March 6 and 7 , there are three challenges to choose from: a Bogle Ramble - 26 mile walk; a Bogle Roll – 78 mile cycle; (and a Bogle Stroll – a 55 mile walk over 24hrs.
The children’s charity has a number of free charity places available for walkers and cyclists who wish to take on the challenge.
The Bogle is organised by Manchester RAG as part of the University of Manchester Students’ Union, and has been a highlight of Manchester’s calendar since 1961.
