A CROSS-party group of MPs - including Altrincham and Sale West's Graham Brady - has launched a report, calling for urgent action from Government, police, prosecution services, and the Jewish community to tackle a disturbing rise in antisemitism in the UK.
Following a significant increase in antisemitic incidents during the Israel-Gaza war of July and August 2014, John Mann MP commissioned a group of senior Parliamentarians to examine evidence on antisemitism in the UK.
Mr Brady MP said: ‘I am delighted to be associated with this report; no discrimination against any community is acceptable and I am proud to represent an area with excellent inter-community relations.
"Unfortunately there is disturbing evidence of increasing anti-Semitism in our country and this must be tackled. We should acknowledge the enormous contribution the Jewish community makes to British life and it is vital that this report is properly considered and its recommendations implemented."
