LOOKING for something to do before the kids go to bed this Valentine’s Day? Why not visit the inaugural Altrincham Healthy Living Festival!

The festival will take place around the Grafton Centre in Altrincham town centre from 10am-4pm on February 14 and will provide a whole host of free health related activities for the entire family to enjoy.

The event, organised by resident volunteers and supported by the Altrincham Forward initiative, offers plenty of activities for kids including live farm animals, cookery classes, art displays and storytelling by authors.

Cyclists among you can drop your bicycle into the bike clinic and enjoy a locally made healthy snack at the pop-up cafe or take in a live performance whilst you wait.

There will be live shows on George Street (near Home Bargains/ Poundland) including exercise routines, Zumba dances and music and don’t miss your chance to take part in the raffle, the proceeds of which go to the Counselling and Family Centre in Altrincham.

Also present will be a number of businesses giving advice and demonstrations on nutrition, diet, exercise, beauty, mental health, family matters and loads more.
