CALLING all London Marathon Runners! There is still time to grab one of the few remaining Dogs for the Disabled places in the world’s greatest marathon.

The event is taking place on Sunday, April 26 and Dogs for the Disabled is in need of runners to raise funds for this life-transforming charity.

Places will be allocated in mid-October, after the official race ballot results are announced.

The charity asks is that runners pay a £100 (non refundable) registration fee and raise at least £1,750 in sponsorship.

Volunteers will receive a fundraising pack, a free running vest and support with sponsorship.

The charity must raise £12,000 to fund each dog from birth to fully trained assistance dog and nearly £20,000 to fund the dog for its working life.

It receives no government funding and rely entirely on donations, fundraising and volunteers to continue and its pioneering work.
