AROUND 20 tons of paper caught fire at a commercial property in Carrington.
Crews from Stretford and Sale fire stations were called to the property, on Manchester Road, at around 9.15pm on April 14.
It is thought that the bales of recycled paper had spontaneously caught fire.
Firefighters used four jets to put out the blaze and used a thermal imaging camera to check no patches of fire remained.
The damage was limited to the paper.
