Railway history on show
THE Altrincham Electric Railway Preservation Society will host the last lecture of its 2013/14 series on April 11.
Delivered by David Young, the slide show will be titled, ‘Slides from the Manchester Locomotive Society Collection’, and will mainly consist of 1950s and 60s steam locomotives.
The event will take place at Altrincham Methodist Church Hall and will start at 7.30pm. Admission will be £3 or free for members - refreshments will be provided.
