SEVEN Trafford students - Andrew Robbins (Timperley), Jonathan Leung (Davyhulme), Theodore Sharrock (Hale), front, Joe Perry (Sale), Simren Singh (Stretford), Harriet Rumble (Timperley), Calum McGoff (Hale) - have stars in their eyes after gaining 59 A*’s between them.
Theodore Sharrock from Hale, who gained 11 A*’said: “I am really pleased with my results. I am glad all my hard work paid off.”
The college obtained excellent GCSE examination results with almost 25 per cent of the year scoring exclusively grades A* or A. Nine students have obtained a full set of A* grades.
Headmaster Daniel Kearney said “It is gratifying to note that these students, like many of the others, combine academic excellence with outstanding contributions to the dramatic, sporting and musical life of the college.”
“Throughout the year group there are countless stories of students who have fulfilled their academic potential. We look forward to seeing what they will achieve in the sixth form as they continue to flourish at St Bede’s College.”
