A CONCERNED Sale resident, who asked not to be named, is worried about drivers speeding along Hope Road.
He said: “It seems that if there is no history of death or injury on this road, then it is not a council priority! There is a greater police presence there though now in the daytime but people are still speeding at what seem to be motorway speeds in the mornings and evenings. I think electronic ‘slow down’ signs might help. We need a practical solution.”
He even turned to his ward councillor, Roland Griffin, for assistance and to see if speed cameras could be installed.
