Event in the House of Commons to support grammar schools

ALTRINCHAM and Sale West MP Graham Brady hosted a celebration of grammar schools recently.
Graham held the event at the House of Commons on April 17 to support selective education in the company of Education Secretary Michael Gove and around 100 of his fellow MPs.
The headteachers of St Ambrose, Hale Barns, Michael Thompson, and Altrincham Grammar School, Mary Speakman were also in attendance.
Graham said: “Parents in Trafford have given their overwhelming backing to selective education. It would be tremendous if parents in other areas were given the same choice for their children.”
