TRAFFORD College has been ranked the top Greater Manchester College and joint third in the country in an annual league table of colleges published by FE Week.

FE Week, an industry leading publication focused on delivering the latest further education and skills news, rated colleges across the country in four categories: learner satisfaction, employer satisfaction, 16-18 positive progression and adults into employment.

The table, which includes more than 200 FE Colleges, ranks providers using a points based system against the key criteria published by the Department for Education (DfE).

The news follows another recent accolade, which saw Trafford College rated as the top Greater Manchester College for helping adult learners into sustained employment, according to the latest destination data published by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills.

Trafford College principal, Lesley Davies, said “We are absolutely delighted with yet another fantastic accolade for the college, our staff and learners.

"Trafford College helps thousands of young people and adults, not only achieve their qualifications, but perhaps more importantly, realise their aspirations and go on to have rewarding careers.

"This accolade is a great tribute to all the hard work that staff and students contribute throughout the year, and being recognised in this way will motivate us to do even better next year.”
