URMSTON Grammar student, Liza Breykina, has hauled in a host of medals and trophies for her gymnastic prowess.
In 2017 alone, Year 7 pupil Liza has competed in nine competitions - and been decorated with medals galore.
She was the overall winner in the North West Under 13 Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship.
Russian born Liza, aged 12 years, has been involved in gymnastics for eight years.
She is a member of Trafford Rhythmic Gymnastics Club and trains each evening after school – five days a week – at Ordsall Leisure Centre.
Liza has travelled as far afield as Bulgaria to participate in gymnastics tournaments. In addition to the North West Under-13 triumph, she has been first in Zone D grades and in the NDP finals, as well as achieving second place in two events at the Welsh Championships.
