TWO secondary school teachers really got into character when they visited a primary school for German language taster session.
Flixton Girls' foreign language teachers Sarah Longden and Tom Lewis called into Urmston Primary School, one of its partner primary schools.
The teachers dressed in German traditional Dirndl dress and Lederhosen as they taught new skills in German language and about German culture to two year 5 classes.
The taster sessions consisted of games, conversations and the creation of postcards all using the German language.
Miss Longden commented: "We really enjoyed showing younger pupils a variety of different language skills; it was lovely to see how engaged and enthusiastic they were in gaining new skills. We hope to continue these links and activities over the coming years."
