FLIXTON Girls School is furthering its programme of health and wellbeing with a student led ‘Wellbeing Wednesday’ event on Wednesday, May 10, from 6-8pm.
Led by students for their peers, relatives, staff and former students; the event will provide activities such as food demonstrations, family rounders, netball / tennis sessions and fitness classes. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Kay Statham, sports development manager at FGS, said: “This event follows our Year 9 students’ participation in ‘Girls Active Camp’, in conjunction with Youth Sport Trust.
"The aim of which is to promote more physical activity and enhanced wellbeing for all our students, staff and members of the wider community.”
