WELLACRE Academy, Flixton, recently welcomed more than 60 primary students from neighbouring schools Acre Hall and St Mary’s.
The primary pupils took part in either a dance or computer coding learning session, provided by Helen Andrew of Dance Manchester and Steve. Casey, leader of transition and teacher of computing.
These sessions were designed to give an introduction to these subjects and offered an opportunity for the primary students to acclimatise themselves to a new school environment.
A Wellacre spokesman said: "We would like to thank all who helped to organise our learning sessions and to both students and staff at Acre Hall and St Mary’s Primary Schools.
"We look forward to more fun filled transition events."
