PRIMARY school pupils were detectives for the day when they visited Flixton Girls School.
Seventy-five Year 5 pupils from Urmston Junior School attended the secondary school's Primary Science CSI Day.
The pupils were tasked with solving the mystery of Mr Seale’s stolen laptop.
They took part in variety of activities throughout the day, including; fingerprint and footprint analysis, hair and fibre sample analysis, visiting and sketching the crime scene, and reviewing witness statements.
Working together as a team each group had to solve the mystery and then present their findings in front of all attendees and staff at the end of the day.
All the activities were aimed at development of problem solving skills as well as applying scientific skills and techniques.
