A YEAR 6 pupil from Flixton Junior School shone out when she won Flixton Girls’ School (FGS) ‘Fun Trail’ competition prize, after participating in the challenges during t recent open evening.
Following another hugely successful whole-school Open Evening earlier this term, Ruby Graves' ‘Fun Trail’ card was selected at random from all the entries.
Ruby bagged a prize of a Trafford Centre Voucher.
As part of the open evening activities, all students who attended were asked to simply get their ‘Fun Trail’ card stamped in each department, where they took part in an activity. Upon exiting the school, at the end of their visit, they just had to hand in their completed card for a chance to win.
Ruby was presented with her prize by house captains Soraya Holloway, Erin Jones and Anna Pendlebury.
Ruby said ‘When I found out that I had won the prize it was a great surprise. I'm really looking forward to coming to Flixton Girls in the future.’
