GCSE pupils at Stockport Grammar School are enjoying the results of their hard work with 44 pupils gaining at least 10 A* and A grades, including 18 who gained 10 or more A*s.

Fifty seven pupils secured at least nine A* or A grades and well over a quarter of the year achieved a clean sweep of A* and A grades.

Katarina Sandall, from Davenport, was amongst the school’s best performing pupils with her haul of 12 A*s.

Nathan Kingsley, from Bramhall, and Sam Howard and Adam Keyworth, both from Hazel Grove, each got 11 A*s. Nathan and Sam’s clutch of A*s includes a distinction for Further Maths.

Daniel Woodside, from Prestbury, scooped 10 A*s and one A grade while Adam Clifford, from Bramhall, and Leah Sihan, from Wilmslow, secured 10 A*s.

Edward Parry and Alexander Grant, both from Alderley Edge, Ellie Goldstein and Ben Jones, both from Davenport, Connor Bergin, from Marple, Lili Jones, from Bramhall, Bethany Carter, from Offerton, Joshua Doyle, from Cheadle Hulme, Persephone Hotchkies, from Stockport, Wasil Hussain, from Heaton Mersey, and Adil Khan, from Ardwick, all secured a clean sweep of A* and A grades.

Twins Richard and Elizabeth Seed, from Disley, are celebrating after securing seven A*s, 12 As and a B between them.
