STRETFORD Grammar School's headteacher has welcomed 'another wonderful set of A Level results'.

Michael Mullins said: "With an impressive two thirds of grades achieving A* to B, the students should be rightfully proud of their success. "These results continue to reflect the hard work and dedication of students and staff and the incredible support we continue to receive from parents and carers.

"I am delighted that Stretford Grammar School continues to provide such a high quality of A-level teaching and that our students are able to embark on the next phase of their education with great confidence. Congratulations to all students who achieved or exceeded their target grade.

"A special mention must go to Malek Aliouche who will be attending Oxford University studying English; Zee-Shan Kazmi, who will be attending Manchester University studying medicine; Haniyya Shaikh, who will be attending Manchester University studying dentistry; Angie-Lee Stefaniw, who will be attending Bristol University studying dentistry and Beth Evans, who will be attending Edinburgh University studying medicine. "Finally, I would like to thank everyone involved in providing the opportunities for our students to achieve their aspirations."
