MORE than 80 students took part in a 'showcase of excellence' evening at at Flixton Girls' School.
The girls displayed their talents and abilities in different subjects, including speaking to parents about their work and projects displayed.
The evening included on-stage drama, music and dancing performances and also mini lectures about pupils' favourite topics.
The guest speaker was Dr Amy Whitehead, a senior lecturer in sports coaching and physical education, specialising in sport and exercise psychology. She said: "The school is amazing, the staff have done such a good job working with the students to support them with the performances. The girls are a credit to the school and they oozed talent."
Refreshments were created and served on the night by the pupil catering team led by the Create Faculty.
