AFTER a tough week of SATs, Year 6 children at Broomwood Primary School in Timperley held their own Queen's Birthday Party with a modern twist.
Trafford Housing Trust provided funding for the party, which was used to buy supplies and food.
The children spent the afternoon creating various images of the Queen using different mediums - including spray paints, paints and pencils - using street artist Banky as their inspiration.
They finished off with a quaint old English afternoon tea of juice and cake served in vintage teapots and on vintage plates.
