A HALE nursery is celebrating after achieving the education watchdog’s highest rating.

Hale Day Nursery and Nursery School, on Bankhall Lane, has been judged ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted.

The nursery, which cares for children aged 0-5, is part of the Elmscot Group, an Altrincham-based childcare organisation comprising of four day nurseries and eight out-of-school clubs.

Owned and run by two mums, the Elmscot Group now boasts eight ‘Outstanding’ ratings.

Ivana Beckett, nursery manager at Hale Day Nursery, said: “To be awarded Outstanding status by Ofsted in all areas is an achievement that the whole team are immensely proud of.

“Our practitioners are extremely committed to delivering high-quality childcare and education to all children on a daily basis, always ensuring that their individual needs, as well as the needs of the whole family, are met to the highest standard.”

Ofsted inspectors reported that staff ‘meticulously plan rich and varied activities to support the individual needs and interests of each child’ which contributes to the children being ‘superbly motivated and eager to learn.’

Inspectors also observed that children are ‘extremely happy and demonstrate that they are secure and confident in the care of sensitive and nurturing staff’.

The nursery’s partnership with parents, schools and external agencies was also lauded by inspectors.

“We are delighted that our practitioners’ exceptional dedication and passion have been recognised in this way,” added Ivana.
