PUPILS at Our Lady of the Rosary Primary in Davyhulme honed their sleuthing skills during a busy science week, as they solved a mock crime.
The area's PCSO Officer was on hand to stand at the sealed off 'crime scene'.
The week got underway with an introduction assembly from Gary Howard, the director of ‘Complete Forensics’. Trafford Schools St Antony’s and BTH supported the week by providing equipment.
Each class looked at different pieces of evidence and used techniques such as DNA extraction and chromatography to identify the suspect.
The week ended with each class presenting their evidence and concluding who did the crime.
"Children have enjoyed the week and have been incredibly inspired," said science coordinator Hannah Groves.
