Chris Rea
WILLIAM Hulme’s Grammar School were delighted to welcome Hale resident Chris Rea, a young entrepreneur and recent star of Dragons Den.
Chris and his friend Tom, started their business YoungOnes in 2011, whilst first year students at Exeter University. Their ambition was to provide high quality yet affordable clothing for students.
The pair started off by designing a premium onesie that fit the student budget and began selling to friends out of their student home. Chris told the students all about his exciting TV experience on Dragons Den, eventually being made an offer by Duncan Bannatyne.
