HAIR today - soon to be gone for charity.
Louise Cooper, a Year 10 student at Sale High School, has agreed to lose her locks to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
It’s a cause particularly close to the teenager’s heart as her granddad has suffered from cancer for a number of years.
The event will be taking place on July 17 in the school hall when her hairdresser will be coming in to cut her hair in front of Louise’s peers.
In the meantime Louise is collecting donations in school and will be charging 20p per student to watch her have her hair cut off. She is also donating her chopped locks to the Little Princess Trust which makes wigs for children who have lost their hair.
Louise is pictured with fellow pupils Courtney Farrell, Jada Brown, Alex Redeyoff, Arafat Idris, and Brad Lynch.
