THE classic musical Annie was brought to life by Flixton Girls’ School as their annual school production.
Pupils and staff from the school performed the tale, set in 1930s New York, for more than 450 parents and friends.
The performance saw Evie Headford take on the lead of Annie, with Fran Billington from Year 11 stepping into the large shoes of Daddy Warbucks.
Evie who played Annie said:: “I loved so many of the songs we sang but my favourites had to be Tomorrow and Hard-Knock Life Rehearsals were great fun: I’m going to miss them!”
