The winning team from Victoria Park
FOR the fifth year running, Victoria Park Infant School in Stretford has won the Trafford Schools Key Steps Gymnastics Key Stage I competition.
Children competed in a range of disciplines, including floor, body management and vault.
Another competition beckons for the winning team members who will go on to represent Trafford at the Greater Manchester Games in April.
Rachel Redmond, school events organiser at Flixton Girls School said: “Victoria Park Infant School provide opportunities for all their pupils. Their success in gymnastics is down to the school being extremely passionate about sport and the benefit it brings to their pupils.”
Victoria Park has a specialist gymnastics coach, Clare Morgan.
