New Society for Abandoned Animals charity shop opens its doors in Old Trafford
8:47pm Thursday 18th October 2012 in News
THE Society for Abandoned Animals has opened a new charity shop on Malvern Road in Old Trafford.
The shop will help to raise vital funds needed to house and rehome unwanted and abandoned cats, dogs and rabbits at the Trafford animal sanctuary.
Natasha Woest, sanctuary manager said, “We are delighted to open our new shop and we are extremely thankful to all the hard working staff and volunteers who have come together to get the new shop up and running.
"The new shop is a great improvement upon our charity barn. I would encourage the local community to pop by our fantastic new shop and have a look through our items. Every purchase at the shop will help fund and support the Society for Abandoned Animals.”
Staff are always grateful of unwanted, good quality clothes, CDs, DVDs, cutlery, bric-a-brac and much more for the SAA to sell in the shop. Take your items to the sanctuary, situated along the canal tow path off Dane Road, Sale.
The charity shop is open every day except Wednesday and Sunday. For more information about the shop, or the sanctuary, please call them on 0161 973 5318.
