DAVYHULME Scout and Guide Band will be performing at Eden Square Shopping Centre on Saturday.
The band, which is one of the best in the UK, will then compete in the Greater Manchester Marching Band Championships at George H Carnall leisure Centre, Davyhulme, on Sunday.
The group has members ranging from six to 65-years-old and achieved national recognition in August when it played at the Olympic Park in London in front of 60,000 spectators on the penultimate day of the games.
Spectators are welcome to attend the championships, at which 15 of the best marching bands in the UK will give 21 performances.
