Sale undergoes a Deep Clean
Young and old came together last week to clean up their community.
Police officers joined community patrol teams, Irwell Valley Housing staff, Firs primary School and Woodheys primary School pupils, council staff and Trafford Housing Trust residents at Sale West Community Centre for the ‘Deep Clean’.
Several bags of rubbish were cleared from targeted hotspots and fines were also issued to dog owners who were seen not clearing up after their pets.
A surgery was set up at the community centre for residents to report crime problems.
