A STRETFORD shopping centre is celebrating a hat-trick of new stores with the arrival of a men’s fashion chain.

The Source, which offers a mix of casual wear and fine suit tailoring, has opened for business at Stretford Mall.

The new store is the latest branch of a company which already has a high-profile presence in the Lowry Centre at Salford Quays and the Middleton Arndale Centre Rose O’Grady, manager of the new store, said: “The Stretford Mall was chosen for the latest store because it is right at the heart of the community and a good focal point for the area.

“There is nowhere else selling formal wear or suits in the mall, so we think the Source will be a very useful addition to the shopping mix."

The Source is the latest business to open its doors at Stretford Mall and is the third in as many months, following on from Shu-Topia which specialises in shoes, bags and accessories and Kingston Furnishings which doubled the size of its former show room when it moved to the Stretford Mall.

The new store has created three new jobs, two full time roles including one for Rose who has eight years of experience in the menswear industry, and one part time staff member for the weekends.
