South Manchester Twins Club asks for more members

THE South Manchester Twins Club, a not for profit support group for families with or expecting twins or multiples, would like to recruit more members.

Group secretary and treasurer, Sarah Waterhouse said: “Primarily we are a group of mums trying to make our lives a little bit easier.”

The group’s regular event is ‘Twin Tots’, a baby, toddler and pre-school group open to all multiples and their siblings, which takes place every Wednesday 1-4pm at the Sure Start Centre, Didsbury Park.

The club’s Baby and Toddler Sale at Greenfield Church, Urmston, on September 15 10am-1pm, will help raise vital funds and needs as many people to sell and buy items as possible.

The group also organises socials for parents and carers to meet up without their children, the next event is in Chorlton on August 28.

Sarah said: “We try not to talk about children but can't promise anything!”
