THE sunniest smiles in Stretford were on show as part of a competition set up by a shopping centre manager.

Visitors to the Stretford Mall put down their shopping bags and gave their best possible grin in order to be in with a chance of winning the prestigious title of Stretford’s Sunniest Smile.

The search was started by Stretford Mall manager, Colin McCrory, who wanted the contest to bring a little joy and happiness to his loyal shoppers.

Colin has shortlisted 20 of the best smiles taken by a professional photographer over a weekend and he will now rely on a public vote to choose the final winner who will win £200 worth of vouchers to spend at the busy shopping centre on Chester Road.

Colin said: “We were on a search to find the biggest, broadest smile, the smile that says welcome to Stretford and can really light up a room, and I think we found that smile several times over. It will be difficult for our shoppers to choose a winner!”

The pearly white images are on display in the Stretford Mall until June 16 and shoppers can cast their votes by secret ballot for the smile they believe is best deserving of the title of Stretford’s Sunniest Smile.
