A TIMPERLEY mum has been nominated for two national awards only a year after establishing her business.
Karen Brownsell, who teaches sign language and sensory activities, and movement and dance classes to babies and toddlers as part of her Jittabugs franchise, is in the running for two awards from a national childrens awards scheme.
She has been nominated for ‘Best Local Activity for the Under 5s’, and ‘Most Outstanding Activity Leader for the Under 5s’ in the prestigious ‘What's On 4 2011 Junior Awards’ in association with Konfidence.
The awards programme is now in its fifth year and celebrates the best activities from throughout the UK as nominated and voted for by parents and parents to be.
Karen runs ‘Sign & Play’ and ‘Move and Groove’ classes in Sale at The Avenue Methodist Church and Waterside Arts Centre.
