A TUMBLE dryer blaze sparked an early morning house fire in Stretford at the weekend.
Crews scrambled to Nansen Close shortly after 1.30am on Saturday March 18.
They found a tumble dryer had caught on fire, with the blaze spreading to the kitchen.
Crews were at the scene for around an hour and a half. The cause of the fire was accidental.
No-one has been reported to have been hurt.
Firefighters would like to remind people to take care when using tumble dryers to follow this advice.
