NEW York inspired diner, Mustard, welcomed service users and staff from Sale-based charity, Stockdales, recently for a feast.

The get together marked the launch the restaurant’s commitment to raising money for the charity over the next six months.

Ten service users with their carers and staff from the charity, which provides support for adults and children with learning disabilities across Trafford, were treated to dishes from the Sale-based diner’s menu.

The beef and gravy burger, from which 50p from each sale will go directly to the charity, also proved popular.

“We are delighted to be supporting Stockdales,” said Mustard owner Jane Gosnell.

“Their work in Sale and across south Manchester is incredible and empowers and enables people with a learning disability to access their local services, have support where they need it and really live as part of the community.

"They make an amazing difference to every person that they help, so we are proud to do what we can to raise funds for them.”

Natalie James, fundraising manager at Stockdales, added: “Without the support of the community we cannot raise the money we need to develop and extend our services, which is why we are particularly thrilled that a business such as Mustard is on board to support us. E

"Everyone had a fabulous meal and a great time, plus the diner’s ongoing donations through the sales of the burger will be a real bonus.”
