ALTRINCHAM Electric Railway Presentation Society is continuing with its monthly talks.
Meetings are held at Altrincham Methodist Church Hall, Barrington Road, Altrincham at 7.30.
On January 13, Noel Coates will give the second part of his digital presentation in black and white about Steam in the North West of England and Scotland’ On February 10 John Sloane will also give a digital presentation, this time about the Splendid Years of BR Steam from 1959 – 1963.
On March 10, Dr Michael Bailey will give a black and white digital presentation featuring Eric Lomox, Railwayman of War and Peace. He will show images of steam in the UK before and after the second world war with a few taken in India during that war. The featured locos will be a mixture of industrial and main line mostly in Scotland.
On April 7, Brian Yates will give a 35mm slide presentation about The Last Years of British Trolleybuses.
Light refreshments will be served and included in the admission price of £3.50. Free for AERPS members.
