STUCK for unique gifts ideas for Christmas? Look no further than Sale Arts Trail‘s Christmas Bazaar.

The open studio arts event is returning for its third annual Christmas Bazaar at The Claremont Centre, in Sale, on Sunday November 27.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet over 40 professional artists and makers and buy a variety of unique gifts – including jewellery, ceramics, paintings, knitwear and woodcraft – direct from the seller. There will also be demonstrations on the day, as well as a live jazz band (1-3pm) and a pop-up cafe selling tea, mulled wine and homemade cakes.

Sophie Nixon, co-organiser of the trail with Jo Lavelle, said: “We plan to bring a real festive treat to the event with a beautifully decorated venue, live jazz music, mulled wine and lots of other festive loveliness.”

This year, as well as promoting two cafes – Amphora and Fresh Filling – by installing exhibitions by artists Lucy Elisabeth, Frith Overy-Ellis, Ambiguous Brush and Sarah Driffill, Sale Arts Trail is supporting Trafford Music Service (TMS), which is housed at the Claremont Road centre.

Sophie and Jo said they fell in love with the space.

Sophie said: “With its high ceilings, huge space and fantastic lighting, it is perfect for this and hopefully future arts trail events. We have really enjoyed working with the staff at TMS and supporting such a brilliant service.”

Sunday’s event is free entry and takes place from 10am to 5pm.
