SALE councillors have organised another ‘Big Tidy-Up’ event, which will take place on Sunday, November 27.
St Mary’s ward councillors Rob Chilton, Dan Bunting and John Holden will be focusing on Manor Avenue, between Firs Road and Cherry Lane, as the location for their latest tidy up.
Those wishing to take part can meet them at the car park at the junction of Manor Avenue and Firs Way (next to the medical centre), at 2pm.
Cllr Chilton said: “Manor Avenue suffers more than most for litter being chucked out of car windows and getting stuck in the foliage, so it is useful sometimes to 'blitz' the whole area and get it as clean as possible, so that the Council cleaners do not get stuck trying to get rid of stuff out of the undergrowth.
“As ever, anyone who would like to join us and help out would be more than welcome.”
