A SALE Judo club is continuing to do its bit for cancer care after being inspired by the club founder who lost his life to the disease.
Hosaka Kwai Sale Judo Club made their annual donation to Macmillan Cancer Support at Wythenshawe Hospital recently.
Every September the club makes a donation in honour of Akinori Hosaka, the club founder who lost his battle with cancer in 2010.
Members raise money through internal fundraising events throughout the year and have raised more than £4,000 to date. This year, £1,000 was donated.
The money will help Macmillan continue to provide specialist care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer.
